SOLD, Stunning Bach Mt Vernon model 36, gold brass bell. SOLD. It has a longer slide to facilitate an in tune low C. I recently had this one fully restored and relacquered here in LA. The disk base allows for a stable platform that won't tip over. This allows for a fully tapered "J bend" back bow connecting to the bell flare, which gives more solid slotting and better intonation. The bell is an 8.5" Beryllium Bronze one piece bell made by Larry Minick that was originally mine. The sound is very clean, crisp and punctuated with a rich vibrancy. This one is used but in very good shape with some very minor cosmetic wear.
