We don’t quite know what the story surrounding the character will be, but we do know that she’ll be joined by David Harbour, Rachel Weisz, and rising star Florence Pugh, among others. The latest offering from Pixar (after 2020’s Soul) will be a deeply personal coming-of-age tale with a twist from director Enrico Casarosa.

And the fact that it’s a horror film inspired by both Don’t Look Now and Repulsion? This new spy flick from screenwriter Theresa Rebeck might be just up your alley. Based on the action figures by Mego, the film will also be produced by J.J. Abrams.

We still don’t know much about what the story will be, but as casting news trickled in, we did learn that Finn Wolfhard and Mckenna Grace will play a brother and sister, with Carrie Coon as their single mother, and Paul Rudd is in the film in an undisclosed role. Not a whole lot is known about the movie, except that the filmmakers have recruited a cast of some of the most in-demand young actors in Hollywood – including Miles Teller, who will play Goose’s son – and that Val Kilmer is officially back as Iceman.

J.K. Rowling is back as the screenwriter in this original franchise and Eddie Redmayne will reprise his role as the enigmatic Newt Scamander. Adam Sandler might be busy raking in critical raves for Uncut Gems (Certified Fresh at 92%), but families will be happy to hear that he’ll be back for another go as Dracula in Hotel Transylvania 4, just in time for a Christmas release.
