See the socks?! They chose Le Chateau in South Salem, NY to be the backdrop for their special day.

Jackie and Rich had such a beautiful day and Derek and I loved being a part of it!

Kait made it clear from our initial emails that family was important. It is a fairytale venue, and the staff just make it all so much easier. The entire day was like walking through a cloud. Let your wedding story unfold in rooms that have hosted glittering celebrations since the Gilded Age. To say that our wedding day was the best day of our lives would be an understatement.

Tori and Debbie answered tons of questions and helped navigate the day so smoothly.

From Victoria (The Bride) On September 29, we woke up to one of the most beautiful days on record. In her speech, Kait’s sister shared how the greatest thing about marriage is supporting your spouse and knowing that they’re gonna support you right back. It was the middle of November, and Le Chateau (just reopened in South Salem, NY) was the perfect host for their cozy, goofy, evening fall wedding.

I was in photographer heaven! Between marathons and starting businesses, they’ve got a LOT going on. Love all these soft colors! How stunning is this ballroom?! Love it! Required fields are marked *, What date in November was this wedding? The perfect way to end their romantic day! And it is stunning inside and out! A circle of support.

Beautiful capture by my husband Derek! Once Jeff broke the glass, we kissed like giddy teenagers and made our way back down the aisle, a married couple! For example, she wanted to bless their siblings with nice portraits of their individual families, since they’d be all dressed up. We went inside for an incredible cocktail hour, followed by an elegant reception in the ballroom they recently built onto Le Chateau!

From Victoria (The Bride) On September 29, we woke up to one of the most beautiful days on record. Jeff and I shared the most intimate of moments during our first look in the stone garden I had always hoped we’d be standing in, we breezed through photos with our family and bridal party of a combined 22 and just like that, I donned my veil and with my parents by my side, began taking the walk I’d always imagined but still couldn’t quite believe, rose petals and lanterns abound. Jeff and I danced our first dance to “Have A Little Faith in Me” – a song very personal to us that dates back to one of our very first dates, and when he dipped me that one last time, while we were both very much there, in the middle of a dancefloor littered with everyone we loved in the world, it felt like we were flying, and the only people in the universe. Le Chateau offers both historical details and modern luxuries, and where every aspect is designed with a bride and groom in mind.

The food was decent-cocktail hour was good-very good.

I can’t!!

Such a beautiful location for their ceremony! « What I Learned as a Bride!Katie & Mike’s Anniversary!

We closed out the night with final pictures to the backdrop of night and an afterparty to take us into the wee hours.

Don’t you love her maid of honor’s dress?! I was in photographer heaven! A special thank you to all of the vendors who made Jackie and Rich’s beautiful day possible: Church: St. Mary’s Church, Ridgefield, Connecticut. Ahh!

Attended a fundraiser here and the staff was forever doting and attentive and the bartenders knew how to handle their shakers well.

“A Landmark is Reborn” As the night went on, Derek noticed how beautiful the sunset was – and we took a chance to take Jackie and Rich outside to capture the beautiful glow! Now under new ownership, Le Château has reopened exclusively for weddings and private events, following a $10M comprehensive facility update and expansion befitting the property’s glittering legacy. Here, your story will unfold in rooms that have hosted dazzling celebrations since the Gilded Age. From the beginning, the staff at Le Chateau reassured us … My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Le Chateau on 8.17.19 - Almost 6 weeks later and we still can't stop thinking about the most wonderful day of our lives. They ran into their reception together, danced a little in the middle, but then Mike split off and ran around the circle of friends and family, giving high fives and shaking hands like a famous baseball player after a big win.

With large, glittering chandeliers hanging overhead, Jeff and I bounded into the room and spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor with, as we hoped, almost the entirety of our guests getting down to the musical stylings of the Dane Wright Band. Even a group of Jackie’s students were there to support the new Mr. & Mrs.! She had a beautiful party of bridesmaids as well as 4 adorable flower girls who were having fun jumping on the couches!
