He is also survived by many precious nieces and nephews spread throughout the country, in Kentucky, Ohio, Georgia, Florida and California, he loved them dearly. He joined the Navy at 17 years old to fight in World War II and served as one of the first UDT ‘frogmen’ but quickly changed rates to become an efficient and outstanding equipment operator and was able to operate any kind of equipment given to him. Survived by Aunt Hilda, Aunt Greta and numerous cousins around the world. Our Fathers are our first love and will always be our last. Mac was a patriot all of his life with his service to the Navy and a fierce love of country. Mac was instrumental in me joining the Navy Seabee Veterans Of America, where I served with him in Island X-4 Orlandountil I retired and moved away in 1999. So sorry to hear if Mac’s passing. Beloved wife of 51 years to Don ('Billy T') Taylor. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Taylor: Judith Anne - A resident of Chatham, Judy Taylor passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on May 8, 2020 at the age of 70. I will miss his sense of humor and infectious laugh. Mac will be missed by many . I also liked to see him smiling, because to me, it was one of the most happiest and senciere smiles in the whole world.
