The whole experience was satisfying and I’ll be on the lookout for McMurtry and Ossana adaptations along with Proulx’s other stories. I can’t shake the feeling at times though that the relationships in the short story feel unreal to me, specifically with Jack and Ennis’s relationship seeming almost like fan fiction. You don't deserve me. That’s one of those myths, like “the cast of Alien didn’t know about the chestburster,” right? Overall I still ove the love between Ennis and Jack :). One night, … Ouch! Don't worry about the plot; you two have Emotions and Bond, which will be conveniently unintelligible to the audience.
