The company branding combines vivid photographs, clean colors, and easy to read text for a refreshing new look and broad audience. In a very basic sense, it is a record of the act of looking, of touching, and of constructing meaning through relating one mark or image to another over a period– a physical testament to the passage of time and a series of visual decisions. What else? I am interested in the simultaneous read of an immediately recognizable image that asks the viewer to linger over a history and meaning that unfold more slowly. This branding piece features two logos, one primarily used for the website, and another used for packaging purposes. The goal of this piece was to capture the bands unique sound while playing with the theme of the tour "Sounds of Summer". I prioritise working with eco-friendly and sustainable brands that reflect my own values. As such, the drawings convey to the viewer recognizable imagery, and there is immediacy in that recognition.
