We have induction and they are great, get a very even heat, sear like a pro, and are almost completely non-stick after using the made in wax. Despite that, the pan released food easily, and eventually, the darker color started to “stick” even in the center of the pan.

Considering that the nonstick surface is due to seasoning rather than a coating, this pan should last nearly forever. To reestablish the protective iron oxide layer, clean the pan of any residual oil and heat it in the oven for about an hour at 550 degrees until it darkens in color - pans will blacken, but you may see tempered colors ranging from bronze to blue.
After repeated seasonings, the center of the pan still looked blue while the edges were darker.
